This was the first three-figure break this year. Sachdev showed excellent touch and neatly stitched together that effort in the first frame to tame Mithul Parikh (+55) 117-59 to give Golmaal a winning start in the home match.

Later Golamaal's seasoned cueist Siddharth Parikh (+5) made a break of 44 as he won the second frame against Anees Jumani (+35) before the double pair of Rovin D'Souza and Dhruv Sitvala won the next frame to seal the win.

Wodehouse Gymkhana team 'The Woody Woodpeckers' struck a good balance and combined well to finish in pole position in the four-team Section-J.
