When World No 2 Saina Nehwal boards the flight to Paris for the World Badminton Championships today, there will be a few Bollywood movie DVDs other than heru00a0kit in her luggage.u00a0 "Don't forget I am young," she told

MiD DAY on the eve of her departure to Paris. "Like every youngster, I have some interests and likes."u00a0 Nehwal, whose World Championships preparation regime includes an eight-hour-a-day training session with idol and coach Pullela Gopichand, revealed she unwinds by watching Aamir and Shah Rukh Khan movies.

"I am a huge Bollywood fan. I particularly like watching movies which feature Aamir and Shah Rukh Khan. And after a high-intensity match, these flicks help me release pressure and calm my nerves," said Nehwal, who loved the Shah Rukh Khan hit My Name is Khan and the Aamir Khan blockbuster Three Idiots.

Award beckons
Nehwal was recently nominated for the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award. But the final of the World Championships is on the same day (29 August) of the presentation where president Pratibha Patil will give away the awards.

Nehwal wants to win the championship first and then receive the award. "It will be great if I win the championship and then collect the award," she said. Nehwal, who was beaten by China's Lin Wang in the quarter-final of the Hyderabad edition of the World Championships last year, said that luck deserted her in front of a vociferous home crowd. "This time I am more confident. I am sure I will fare much better," she said.
