Saina Nehwal's fourth Super Series title yesterday was her "best Super Series" win, reckoned former national coach Vimal Kumar
Saina Nehwal's fourth Super Series title yesterday was her "best Super Series" win, reckoned former national coach Vimal Kumar.
At the Hong Kong Open, Saina first avenged her Guangzhou Asian Games quarter-final defeat against Yip Pui Yin in the quarters, before getting back at China's Shixian Wang, who had beaten her in the quarter-finals of the World Championships in Paris, in the final yesterday.
"This (Hong Kong) is definitely her best Super Series win. Beating Asian Games gold medallist, Wang is credible," Kumar told MiD DAY from Bangalore yesterday.
"Saina was expected to win the CWG title easily, but was not playing to her potential. She was disappointed with her Asiad performance. So, this win will give her a lot of confidence," he added.
