Sindhu lost to Sapsiree in the same tournament last year when the Indian went down in the second round.u00a0“I played her last year too and lost that time. I had a fever then and a hamstring problem too,” said the No 2 seeded India who has beaten the Indonesian in the qualification rounds of the All England Open earlier this year.
“I have played her and have beaten her. I expect it to be a good match,” said Sindhu, adding that the title will be the perfect wedding gift for her sister P Divya.
“I’ll be missing her wedding but I can’t help it now having reached the final. I’ll try to win the tournament and give it as a gift to her,” she signed off.
