Helsinki: Six members of Cuba's national volleyball team remained in custody over a suspected rape case in Finland, while two others have been released, local police said yesterday.

"The police have six players under arrest at the moment. Two players... have been released and they are no longer suspected of this crime," the Central Finland police department said in a statement.
Over the weekend the Cuban players had been brought in for questioning about the alleged rape at their hotel during the Volleyball World League event.
