Soderling, ranked four in the world and top seed here, was in imperious form and never allowed his opponent an inch as he powered down aces, hit superb returns off Llodra's service and winner after winner when they managed to get a rally in.Soderling will play either fourth seed Jurgen Melzer of Austria or Russian journeyman Dmitry Tursonov in today's semi-finals.
Earlier, Croatia'su00a0 Marin Cilic advanced to the semi-finals by ousting second seed Tomas Berdychu00a0 of the Czech Republic in straight sets 6-3, 6-4.
