Shooter Ronjan Sodhi won bronze in the double trap event at the ISSF Shotgun World Cup stage of the year in Maribor, Slovenia yesterday.
Sodhi, who won silver in Beijing earlier this year, had already clinched his place for the 2010 London Games in Beijing.
Sodhi qualified for the final with 145 hits out of 150 behind Peter Robert Russell Wilson of Great Britain and China's Hu Binyuan, who had 146 hits.
Sodhi and Wilson managed 49 hits out of 50 and the latter assuring himself of the gold.
Binyuan had shot a round of 48 and edged Sodhi in the shootout for the second place after Sodhi missed one of the two targets while the Chinese struck both of them down.
