St Mary's overcome Don Bosco test after exams

St Mary's ICSE (Mazagaon) overcame a spirited challenge from defending champions Don Bosco (Matunga) to win 5-2 in the U-12 Division I semi-final of the MSSA-MI inter-school football tournament yesterday

What made the win sweeter for the players was the fact that they had appeared for their term exams in the morning.

St Mary’s Kumayle Merchant (11), who scored two goals, said, “We are glad that we won despite being under the pressure of exams. We had papers in the morning from 9-11 and then we reached the ground at 12.35 pm for the match.” u00a0
