Tiger Woods paying out millions to keep affairs under the rug

Being Tiger Woods' mistress seems to be a very lucrative business if the rumours are to be believed.

News of a new affair is emerging every day and the list now stands at 10 with a porn star also in the mix, according to Sydney Morning Herald.

And it is believed that the golf billionaire is more than happy to throw away millions to keep them quiet and save his image from getting tarnished further.

According to new reports, Woods has thrown at least $1 million at his alleged mistress, Rachel Uchitel.

On Friday, rumours of a pay-off were initially shot down when Uchitel abruptly cancelled a press conference which many speculated would shed some light on the Manhattan waitress' relationship with Woods. Uchitel's lawyer, Gloria Allred, told TMZ that they shut down the presser because of "unforeseen circumstances," and the gossip outlet reported on Friday that Uchitel "walked away (from the press conference) without taking a cent from Tiger Woods."

According to Radaronline, though, she's now "from $1 million to $3 million" richer.

Radaronline is reporting that Woods paid Uchitel that sum after talking with his alleged mistress over the phone, and according to the outlet, she convinced him that she was not the one responsible for leaking their relationship to the press.

"She told Tiger, 'I didn't talk,'" said Radaronline's snitch. "And Tiger believed her."

Woods made the decision to pay her so that she would continue to keep mum on the details of their relationship and not release their texts and emails to the public, reports Radaronline. According to the site's source, he had been seeing Uchitel for five months before news of his various "transgressions" broke.

Few things to know...

A poll by CNN and USA Today reported that approval ratings for Woods have dropped 24 percent since June in the wake of his admission of mistakes, which came after an audiotape purportly of Woods linked him to one alleged mistress.

The New York Daily News reported that a new name on the growing list is Cori Rist, a 31-year-old divorced mother who says she met Woods at a New York club.

Woods, who turns 34 on December 30, was first linked to Rachel Uchitel, who has denied the affair despite a TMZ report that a friend of Woods arranged her flight and room in the same hotel as Woods during a recent Australian tournament.

Also on the list released by Fox News were cocktail waitress Jamiee Grubbs, 24 Sampson, 36; Kalika Moquin, 27, a Las Vegas club manager; model Jamie Jungers, 26; Mindy Lawton, a 33-year-old waitress from Orlando; and three unidentified women, two from British reports and another waitress from Orlando.

The gossip continued as a police officer who responded to the emergency call when Woods crashed said 235 dollars in cash were found in the SUV and two iron clubs were on the ground.

Woods' has not denied any of the speculations so far
