Golfer's mom Kutilda is enraged over his affairs, but will stand by him

Under fire golfer Tiger Woods' mother Kutilda is enraged at her son's multiple affairs, reports The Telegraph newspaper in the United Kingdom.

"(She) is hurt, angry and disappointed in Tiger. She wants to know how he could do this to his family," a friend told People magazine in America

Kutilda reportedly had to deal with infidelity in her own marriage to the golfer's father but says she would stand by her son despite claims that he has had at least 14 mistresses.

Sixty-five-year old Mrs Woods has been seen often rooting for her son at golf events. The newspaper reported that she often stayed with Woods and his wife, Elin Nordegren in their Florida home.

Thai-born Kutilda was reportedly at the house on the night Woods crashed his car into a tree. However, she has now returned home to California.

A friend said Kutilda loves her son dearly and "will support him through anything". However, she needs some time to come to terms with what has happened.

"It was devastating to her. She likes Elin, and adores her grandchildren. She doesn't want to see them hurt," the friend said.

Some of Woods' friends told New York Daily News that he had ignored their well-meaning warnings. "He was under a lot of pressure. He thought he was just letting off steam. He thought of it as a perk," a pal from his university days told the newspaper.
