Uncle’s Kitchen United beat NCW 3-0 in the final to win the 70MM-organised MDFL Cup rink football tourney at the MSSA ground in Azad Maidan recently. Daniel Fernandes netted a brace for the Malad outfit, while Collin Abranches added the third.

UK United after winning the MDFL Cup rink football title recently

UK United’s Shrikant Veera Mallu was adjudged man of the tourney while teammate Daniel finished as the tournament’s leading scorer with nine goals. UK United pocketed a prize cheque of R50,000, while NCW were richer by R25,000.
