New Delhi: Emerging India grapplers Vinesh Phogat and Sakshi Malik finished with yellow metals in Women's 53kg and 60kg Freestyle categories, respectively, on Day 2 of the Senior National Wrestling championship here yesterday.

Despite fighting in an upper weight division of 53kg rather than her usual 48kg, Vinesh showed her class by beating Mamta Rani in the final bout to bag the gold. Sheetal and Seema settled for bronze medal in this category.
Sakshi also stamped her authority by winning the top position in women's 60kg, while Manisha claimed the silver and bronze medal went to Babita and Anita.
Navjot got the better of Geetika in women's 69kg final to clinch the gold medal. Rajni and Pinki had to be satisfied with the bronze.
In the Greco-Roman bouts, Manjeet won the gold in 71kg, while Gaurav Sharma emerged triumphant in 59kg and Navin bagged the yellow metal in 130kg.
