Commonwealth gold medallist Babita Phogat posted a picture of the team on her official Twitter account, captioning it, 'Women wrestling team accept the challenge, Soch badal rahi h .....nothing to be ashamed of, It's natural period.'
The Padman challenge, which has spread like wildfire on the social media, is related to the upcoming film 'PadMan' starring Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte.
The movie is inspired by the story of entrepreneur Arunachalam Muruganantham, a social entrepreneur, who invented the machine for manufacturing low-cost sanitary pads for the women of his village.
He also initiated the #PadmanChallenge on the social media to create awareness about menstruation and usage of sanitary pads, and tagged other people to take up the challenge.
Phogat next dared double Olympian Sushil Kumar and Bollywood star Salman Khan to accept the challenge.
Earlier, Phogat, Babita's sister and Commonwealth gold medallist, also accepted the challenge.
Recently, Indian ace shuttler and Olympian Saina Nehwal also posted her picture with a sanitary pad.
Rio Olympics silver medallist P V Sindhu was the first one from the sports fraternity to accept the challenge.
