Overcast conditions followed by a downpour, this Sunday remained a special one for the Britons as they keenly followed the proceedings at Centre Court where Andy Murray was on the verge of creating history
A win for Murray in the Wimbledon final would make him the first Brit to win a singles title at the All-England Club after 1936. Also, outside the club, the atmosphere was electrifying. Fans draped in national flags and umbrellas in their hands cheering for Murray was a wonderful sight outside the venue.
