Archer Deepika Kumari, who retained the World No. 1 ranking recently, had another maiden ‘achievement’ to celebrate—her first wedding anniversary with her husband Atanu Das.

On Wednesday, Das, who married Deepika on June 30 last year, Instagrammed this picture (right) and wrote: “Happy 1st Anniversary my love @dkumari.archer.”

She then paired up with her husband Das to defeat the Netherlands’ Sjef van den Berg and Gabriela Schloesser 5-3 for the gold medal. The Ranchi archer then blanked 17th ranked Russian Elena Osipova 6-0.
