Rohan Bopanna moved into the second round in the 32-man singles qualifying draw of the Chennai Open 2012 at the SDAT-Nungambakkam Tennis Stadium on Saturday.<br /><br />The main draw of the 17th edition of India's only and South Asia leading ATP World Tour event will begin on Monday with four qualifying slots to be filled.<br />u00a0<br />Doubles specialist Bopanna defeated compatriot Vijay Sundar Prashanth, who retired with an injury in the second set.u00a0 India's Mohit Mayur Jayaprakash and Prajnesh Gunneswaran also made Rd 2.
