Sindhu is seeded 15th out of 16 shuttlers in the women’s draw, headed by defending champion An Se Young

PV Sindhu is the only Indian singles shuttler to be seeded at the upcoming BWF World Championships, with Lakshya Sen and HS Prannoy ranked below the seeding levels on Friday.
The tournament is scheduled to be held in Paris from August 25 to 31. Interestingly, the double Olympic medallist Sindhu is the only Indian to become a world champion.
