New Delhi: Multiple Grand Slam winner Venus Williams was today revealed as one of the players, who will compete in the upcoming Champion Tennis League (CTL) for the Bangalore team while India's top singles player Somdev Devvarman was named in the Chandigarh Franchisee. The oragnisers revealed six teams -- Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Delhi, Chennai and Chandigarh -- for the league, which will be played from November 17 to 26.


Venus Williams 

Somdev's teammate would be Spain's World number five Davis Ferrer and his compatriot Garbine Muguruza (world number 22) along with former British star Greg
Rusedsky. 34-year old American tennis star Venus, who has won seven Grand Slam titles, will have former Swede Thomas Enqvist, Spian's Feliciano Lopez and India's Ramkumar Ramanathan in the Bangalore team.
