<p>Ex-<a href="https://www.mid-day.com/sports/other-sports/article/india-win-25-medals-in-u-15-asian-boxing-cship-23532161" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener"><strong>India</strong></a> shooting coach Sunny Thomas died on Wednesday after suffering a cardiac arrest aged 84. The ex-shooter guided the Indian marksmen from 1993 to 2012.&nbsp;</p>

<p>He was presented the Dronacharya award in 2001 and was part of India&rsquo;s coaching staff when <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/sports/cricket/article/watch-sachin-tendulkar-12-year-old-viral-discovery-outfoxes-rajyavardhan-rathore-23459710" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener"><strong>Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore</strong></a> became the first Indian to win an Olympic medal &nbsp;in the doubles trap event in 2004.</p>
