WWE Fastlane 2017 saw Goldberg pursing a title when he faced Kevin Owens for the Universal title, Bayley defending her title against Charlotte, Roman Reigns facing Braun Strowman.
Rich Swann and Tozawa vs. Brian Kendrick and Noam Dar The kickoff match for Fastlane had the four men square off in a tag team match. Rich Swann hit a Phoenix Splash off the rope on Noam Dar for the win.
Sami Zayn vs Samoa Joe Sami Zayn showed dominance during the early stages of the match. After Sami Zayn hit a Blue Thunder Bomb, Samoa Joe kicked out. Joe then choked out Zayn to earn a victory.
Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson vs Enzo Amore and Big Cass for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship As the two tag teams fought Enzo and Cass came close to clinch the WWE Raw tag team titles, but Gallows managed to save the match. Karl Anderson then went on to win the match for the team after he pinned Enzo Amore.
Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax Nia Jax showcased dominance during the match and also hit Sasha Banks with a torture rack, but Sasha break out of that move and also hit the Bank Statement on Nia Jax. Nia was about to pick up the win, but fell prey to a roll-up by Sasha Banks who then won the match.
Cesaro vs Jinder Mahal Jinder Mahal and Rusev fought over who should face Cesaro. This match was more of a low profile one which was won by Cesaro.
Rusev vs Big Show After Cesaro won, Rusev hit Jinder Mahal to take him out. WWE star Big Show then entered and faced Rusev. Big Show showed some great offensive moves, but Rusev managed to find his own and take Big Show down. Big Show then managed a comeback by hitting 3 Chokeslams and a knockout punch for the victory.
Neville vs. Jack Gallagher for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship Jack Gallagher started by getting the advantage on Neville. Gallagher also managed to hit Neville with two headbutts but could not pin him. Nevill then hit the Red Arrow on Gallagher to retain his title.&nbsp;

Charlotte began talking trash prior to the match. During the course of the match, Charlotte hit a brilliant moonsault from atop the ropes and tried to pin Bayley but she kicked out. Sasha Banks then entered the arena just as Charlotte was about to win the match and caused a distraction. Bayley then scored the win to retain her title and end Charlotte's record PPV streak.

Reigns made various attempts to get Braun Strowman off his feet during the match. When Strowman tried to hit Roman Reigns with a big boot, he missed and fell over the top rope. Strowman then carried Roman Reigns and hit a running powerbomb on the announcer's table. Roman Reigns then hit a spear on Strowman to pin, but he kicked out. After Braun Storman failed to hit a splash from the top rope, Roman Reigns hit him with another Spear for the victory.
Goldberg vs Kevin Owens for the WWE Universal Championship Kevin Owens stalled the match initially, but Chris Jericho's music hit and the match began. Goldberg made short work of Kevin Owens by hitting a spear and a Jackhammer in record 21 seconds to become the new WWE champion at Fastlane. Goldberg will now defend his title against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 33.
