Spanish tennis ace Fernando Verdasco, 34, harboured dreams of being an actor after he retires, but his wife Ana Boyer, who is pop singer Enrique Iglesias' sister, doesn't want him to do so.

"A few years ago, I thought that when I retire from tennis, I would be an actor. But now my wife doesn't want me to be an actor. Ok, so maybe a singer? Like her brother, Enrique [Iglesias]. I need some classes to fine tune my voice. In a few years," Verdasco told Tennis World USA recently. Verdasco, who has been on the tennis circuit for 15 years, also spoke of longevity being a crucial aspect to succeed in the current generation.
