&gt;&gt;&nbsp;Abhinav Bindra is nicknamed 'AB'.
&gt;&gt;&nbsp;He has two pets &ndash; a St. Bernard named 'Buddy' and a beagle named 'Chhotu'.
&gt;&gt;&nbsp;His mother thinks he is 'India's most eligible bachelor'.
&gt;&gt;&nbsp;His favourite dish is Tandoori Chicken.
&gt;&gt;&nbsp;In 2006, Bindra suffered from a severe back injury and was inactive for months.
&gt;&gt;&nbsp;Bindra became the first Indian ever to win an Olympic gold medal when he bagged one at the 2008 Beijing Olympics in the 10 metre air rifle tournament.
&gt;&gt;&nbsp;He is also the youngest Indian to participate in the 2000 Olympics.
&gt;&gt;&nbsp;Abhinav claims that he does not want to get married.
&gt;&gt; He was honoured with the Arjuna Award in 2000, the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award in 2001 and the Padma Bhushan in 2009.
&gt;&gt; When he entered the sport of rifle shooting, he had a -4 number for both his eyes.
