It`s believed that the colour of love is red, but in the case of India’s golfing couple, Pranavi Urs and Karandeep Kochhar, who registered a one-two finish in the Indian Golf Premier League (IGPL) Invitational Mumbai at the Bombay Presidency Golf Club in Chembur on Thursday, it was always green.
Pranavi, 22, created history by becoming the first Indian woman to win a professional golf tournament while playing alongside men in the IGPL event. She carded a stunning 8-under 60 — the week’s best card — to finish 14-under for the week and get the better of overnight leader Kochhar, who ended with a 12-under.
