America’s champion gymnast Aly Raisman has revealed that it is fun to watch the seeds she had sowed germinate and grow into plants in her aerogarden (indoor garden). On Tuesday, she wrote on Instagram: “I planted different types of lettuce, cucumbers, melons, broccoli & flowers from seed using my @officialaerogarden. I transplanted a few things outside, but most plants need warmer weather so they’re still inside.” 

Raisman felt the weather in Boston is not suitable for seeds to be sown outside, so she has grown them in her indoor garden. “In Boston the weather is too inconsistent at this time of year to start seeds outside. So, starting seeds inside is a great way to get the most out of the growing season & get a head start! It’s really amazing to see how fast the grow lights work! Seeds germinate faster with the aerogarden than they would outside! It’s so fun to see. What are you planning on growing this gardening season?”
