Sarosh Hataria, the 30-year old from Chennai and in Meco Racing livery, survived an errant car and a red flag stoppage to win the Formula Rolon race in the second round of the JK Tyre National Road Racing Championship here Sunday.

Hataria, always considered a very competitive driver but who never quite fulfilled early promise, struggled with a problematic gear box that played up when he was running second and he consequently lost track position.
