The Gleneagles - Monasada four-year-old filly Jendayi, trained by Pesi Shroff, has run and won only three races in her career so far, but the manner of her victories has been so spectacular, only four fillies of her age have dared to give her company in the running of the Villoo C Poonawalla Indian Oaks (Gr 1), the third Classic of the Mumbai season which features as the prime event of the Sunday afternoon at Mahalaxmi. Jendayi will be ridden by Irish jockey Oisin Murphy who was atop her when she won the Indian 1000 Guineas last month at the same track.
