Western Railway notched up back-to-back big wins in the initial rounds of the Joe Fernandis Memorial Rink Hockey tournament at Astro Park, Bandra recently. The railway men first beat India Rush 6-0 with Rajin Kandulna scoring a brace and Harish Shindgi, Shubham Singh, Pankaj Singh and Ankit netting one each.

WR then routed Hockey Navi Mumbai by a similar score with Darshan Gawkar, Thoiba Meite, Rohan Patil, Pankaj, Ankit and Rajin scoring one each. In another tie, Hockey Astrengung beat Don Bosco Academy 3-1. Talib scored twice while Aditya got one. Sahil scored for Bosco.
