Khelo India Youth Games: Records and other key stats from 5th edition

So far, Maharashtra is the most successful state in the Khelo India Youth Games history with three titles won in the years 2019, 2020 and 2023. Followed by Haryana with two KIYG titles won in the year 2018 and 2021. In the 2023 edition of KIYG, the most number of athletes which is 474 participated in the competition from the host state MP

Khelo India Youth Games 2024 is an initiative by the Indian government to encourage the sports culture in the country. On January 21, 2018, India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Khelo India Youth Games at Indira Gandhi Arena.
The Khelo India Youth Games 2023 was hosted across 11 cities in Madhya Pradesh. The fifth edition of India's most anticipated competition was held from January 30 to February 11 2023.
