The New Jersey Nets were first in line to try to woo LeBron James away from Cleveland, and the NBA's two-time Most Valuable Player said they made a good pitch.<br /><br />James famously opted for Miami, where he joined Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh to form an imposing trio, who were taking on the Nets yesterday. <br /><br />  <table style="width: 98px; height: 42px" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="98" align="right" border="1">  <tbody>  <tr>  <td><img alt="" src="/imagedata/2010/nov/lebron.jpg" border="0" /></td></tr>  <tr>  <td>  <p align="center"><span style="font-size: 8pt">James</span></p></td></tr></tbody></table>Prior to the game, James was full of praise for the Nets, saying his meeting with Russian owner Mikhail Prokhorov and coach Avery Johnson, was a positive experience. <br /><br />"It was a great meeting," James said. "I left with respect for this organization, respect for Avery Johnson, respect for the owner and for everyone that has anything to do with the Nets.<br /><br />"Nothing bad from that meeting and nothing bad I have to say about this organization. It was great."<br /><br />While James said he doesn't regret his decision, he indicated that "The Decision"u00a0-- the heavily criticized hour-long television broadcast in which he announced his choice of new teamu00a0-- may not have been the best way to go.<br /><br />"If I had a do-over, I'd probably do it a little bit differently," James said, although he wasn't sure exactly what he'd change.<br /><br />One thing he wouldn't alter: his choice of team. "I'm happy I'm in this uniformu00a0-- but much respect to the Nets," James said.
