Marin Cilic beat Sam Querrey on Saturday in a match that lasted five hours and 31 minutes. This is now the second-longest match in Wimbledon history
The previous second longest match at Wimbledon was the five hours, 28 minute-battle between Greg Holmes and Todd Witsken which Holmes won 5-7, 6-4, 7-6 (7/5), 4-6, 14-12. The all-time record at Wimbledon is still the 2010 match between John Isner and Nicolas Mahut — 11 hours and five minutes. Isner won 6-4, 3-6, 6-7 (9/7), 7-6 (7/3), 70-68 in a match that was completed on the third day.
