A disgruntled Lawrence Bing resigned as the hockey secretary of the Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA) with effect from February 23 claiming he was not satisfied working with the body.

“Though overall my time has been satisfying, for quite some time now, I have been unsatisfied due to some arbitrary, ad-hoc decisions taken through the direction of MSSA president Fr Jude Rodrigues. I have increasingly felt my contribution and ideas were unrewarded, unheard and sidelined,” he said in a press release.
