Shot putter Inderjeet Singh, one of the 36 Indian track and field athletes who qualified for the ongoing Rio Olympics, will not be able to compete in his event, scheduled for Thursday, due to the delay in the legal processes the athlete has been involved in after he returned positive for banned substances in his dope test conducted by the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) last month.
