The Dadar team conceded the match before lunch. Resuming at their overnight score of 823-5, Rizvi&rsquo;s middle-order batsman Usama Parkar&rsquo;s 149-ball 102 helped the Bandra team cross the 1000-run mark and post a whopping 1049-7 in 199 overs. Usama&rsquo;s knock was laced with 13 fours and a six. Piyush Nath (89) supported Usama from the other end. Meanwhile, Azeem Shaikh (36) and Vipul Rathod (32) were the batsmen who remained not out. Justifying the decision to bat and give the opposition no chance whatsoever, Rizvi coach Raju Pathak said: &ldquo;This was a four-day final and we did not want to take any chances. Had we declared after a lead of 200 runs, the opposition would have had a chance to comeback. We do not play to create records. Performance in the Harris Shield counts in selection for the Mumbai team. I wanted to give equal chances to all players in my team,&rdquo; said Pathak. Meanwhile, VN Sule Guruji coach Gopal Koli said, &ldquo;there was no point for us to play once they had a 200-run lead. Rizvi wanted to play on and we let them. Today we were just playing for the formality.
