Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik made India's 72nd Independence Day extra special for his tennis player wife Sania Mirza. The Pakistani batsman tweeted: "Wishing Indians all over the globe (especially the one at home) a very #HappyIndepenceDayIndia."

And Sania surely couldn't have felt better. She replied: "Aww" followed by heart emoji. Yesterday, she too wished her fellow countrymen by posting pictures of her wearing a white kurta paired with a tri-colour dupatta. "With freedom in the mind, faith in the words, pride in our souls. Let's salute the nation Happy Independence Day," she wrote.
