Formula One championship leader Oscar Piastri put McLaren at the top of the timesheets in Friday’s second practice session ahead of this weekend’s Singapore Grand Prix.
The Australian, who heads team mate Lando Norris by 25 points in the overall standings, lapped the 4.9-km long floodlit Marina Bay street track in one minute, 30.714 seconds. Racing Bulls driver Isack Hadjar was a surprise second, finishing 0.132 seconds off the pace with Max Verstappen third for Red Bull, 0.143 seconds adrift of Piastri.
