Ten three-year-olds, one of them a filly, are in the final line up for the grade 1, Casino Royale Indian 2000 Guineas, the second Classic of the Mahalaxmi season 2011-12, which will be run as ninth race on the Sunday card. Four colts--Speed Six, Picasso, Pronto Pronto & Cardinal--have far better credentials than the other six, and are expected to take up the first four places.

My choice for the top spot is Speed Six, trained by Padmanabhan & to be ridden by Frenchman Anthony Crastus. He will have to however closely watch Picasso, trained by Pesi Shroff & to be ridden by Stephen Pasquier.
