Emma Raducanu's a 'boring' non-drinker

Alcohol is a big no-no for Brit tennis star Emma Raducanu, 19. When the 2020 US Open champion was in Guadalajara, Mexico, she was given a margarita—a cocktail consisting of tequila, orange liqueur and lime juice, what she hadn’t had before. Talking on In my Lady...segment for Dior’s YouTube channel, the World No. 12 said: “Well, actually I don’t really drink. I’m kind of boring. But yesterday, the girls gave me a version of margarita.

“So, I didn’t know if it was real or not because I’ve never had tequila before. So I can’t really taste the difference,” said Raducanu with a chuckle.

But the youngster is obsessed with mint. “I like to have the occasional mint in my bag because it actually started in New York at the US Open. I became notorious for stealing all the mints. “Every time I’d walk past [mint stalls], I’d grab a handful and yeah, it kind of became a bit of an obsession.”
