Croatian tennis star Donna Vekic, 21, says that whenever she's away from home, playing tennis most of the time, the one thing that she misses is home-cooked food. And particularly, her mum's lasagne, which has been her favourite dish since childhood.
"It's my favourite meal. When I was younger, I would always ask my mum to make me lasagna when I came back from tournaments. As I got older I learnt how to do it myself," says Vekic 21, who was just 15 when she first represented Croatia at the Fed Cup. The same year, she also went on to make her first WTA final.
