The Grade 1, Pune Derby will be the stellar attraction of Sunday's eight-race card. The richest race of the season has attracted nine three-year-old horses of which only one is a filly, the other eight are colts (or geldings).

The SK Sunderji-trained Trouvaille (Surf Rider - Highly Fashionable) may be the most fancied runner for the big race thanks to his gallant effort against Sultan Suleiman (Arazan - Saffron Dancer), the winner of the Grade 3, SA Poonawalla Million. However, a possibility that the beaten favourite from that race — Victorious Sermon (Whatsthescript - Crystal) trained by Vishal Gaikwad — may put in an improved performance today, cannot be ruled out.
