A match-winning performance from Tvisha Gala helped Goregaon's Vibgyor High School (ICSE) beat St Joseph’s Convent High School (Bandra) 26-7 and book a spot in the quarter-finals of the Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA) girls’ U-16 inter-school basketball tournament at Azad Maidan on Friday.
13-year-old Tvisha, who will represent Maharashtra in the upcoming Nationals, was the highest scorer in the match with 10 points, while teammates Vedanti Rathod and Aashna Nandu scored five points each.
