With a mammoth 409 players set to go under the hammer in Mumbai on February 13, the inaugural edition of Women’s Premier League (WPL) will be as 'mega' as things can get. Amongst 409 players who have registered for the WPL auction, about 246 are Indians and the remaining 163 are overseas players.
Interestingly, about 24 players, out of which 10 are Indians and 14 are overseas players, have listed themselves at the highest base price of Rs. 50 lakh.
