Listen to beer podcasts
When you are done nursing your Saturday night hangover, why not spend your siesta with podcasts on booze binging quests? Adventures of Cheap Beer are reminiscences by Siddhant Mehta (in pic, from left), Suyash Barve and Karan Agarwal of their boozy ordeals at “awesome cheap bars” in Mumbai. Episode 7, their most recent podcast, is a review of Amrut Bar at King’s Circle, when the trio got drunk with scriptwriter Neeraj Udhwani. There are also some not-so-subtle references to garba acti-vities and the time when Udhwani “did something with his dad’s car”. Liked it? Then rewind to their earlier episodes with some hilarious reviews of Kit Kat Bar at Dhobi Talao and Bandra’s favourite cheap joint, Yacht. Replete with sound FX and good ol’ bar talk, these 30-minute podcasts are worth listening to for their recall value (who doesn’t have a cheap-bar story to share?). So, grab a pair of earphones, reach for a pint, and hit ’em up.
