Deb has endeavoured to show the power of horses by using charcoal colours on canvas and making optimum use of shade and light techniques and illuminations. He has enhanced the visual quality of each work by use of powerful brush strokes that denote the actions, emotions and power of a horse. Deb says, “The power of a horse fills every heart with restless energy.
have used strokes and dots along with a different form of application of charcoal after experimenting with it for several years. As a medium, charcoal tells many stories between light and shadow and enhances the palate with beautiful tones.”

The tale of a peasant

Written by Peter Gould and Stephen Stearns and directed by Quasar Thakore Padamsee, it stars Meher Acharia-Dar, Suhaas Ahuja and Pramod Pathak.
