Your book, Ladies, Please! Dating Truths by a Man, will hit the stands, soon. What is the thought behind this book?
When a publishing house asked me to write a book I thought someone was playing a prank on me, or may be the book would be a prank on people.

It’s about all the things we, men, wanted to tell women but haven’t been able to. The title comes from frustration. Although it’s called Ladies, Please! men should read it too because it’s about everything I’ve learnt about both species. I just want all of us to be happy.
Were you always funny?
I don’t know about being funny, but I’ve always been funny looking. I believe it’s a lot easier to deal with life’s bullshit if you can laugh about random stuff.
How did your podcast, Kaan Masti, happen? And why do you and actor and stand-up comedian Suresh Menon always talk about poop in it?
Whenever we took a break from work, we spent a lot of time discussing about things and life, in general, that we found funny. I knew people would find these private conversations hysterical but only if they were real. I wanted to record the stuff we talked about in its raw unadulterated state. The best comments on YouTube have been about people using Kaan Masti to change their mood or cheer up patients at hospitals. We don’t mean to talk about poop all the time. It just happens, perhaps, because it’s such a huge part of our lives. Poop is our friend. There’s no need to be ashamed of it. We should embrace poop, metaphorically speaking of course.
Why do you spend so much time on Twitter?
I’m on it for the love and the compliments too but re-tweets are more important. I’m usually on Twitter when I have nothing better to do. So I end up spending all my time on Twitter. Damn it! Now I have to rethink my life.
From your tweets, it seems you are an angry citizen. What do you want to change?
(Laughs) Who wouldn’t get angry? It might sound clichéd but our politicians have the power to change this country for the better, instead they try to use state funds to travel to Brazil for the FIFA World Cup. I want to change all the ridiculous things our politicians do but that’s already happening because there’s nowhere to hide anymore. With the news, mobile phones, cameras, the Internet and social media you can’t keep anything a secret.
