The Bombay Canteen’s Independence Day Daawat box comes in a pack of two and serves up to three people. The meal includes dishes such as chickpeas sundal, tendli foogath, Assamese dali, saag and other dishes that bring together local flavours of the country. For this seventh edition of their Independence Day Daawat, the Lower Parel restaurant has joined hands with the Naandi Foundation, a social sector organisation that helps independent farmers rehabilitate their ecosystem and create a more sustainable livelihood through farming.
