During the pandemic, Gawhale devised a course to help attendees learn music in a structured way. This four-six weeks course focuses on four major concepts: intuitive playing, melody phrasing, chord harmony and fluency. The sessions are interactive. In 2019-20, Gawhale collaborated with AR Rahman and Clinton Cerejo for his single, Battles. He was also part of a programme, where he was mentored by Grammy Award-winning artistes who had played and co-written with musicians like Norah Jones, Michael Buble, Nick Jonas and John Mayer. This helped him understand himself better as a musician. In 2019, he won in the Best Young Indie category at the Radio City Freedom Awards.
