Like most runners, Datta, the vice-president of marketing at PVR cinemas, has a playlist that is curated especially for those arduous hours when you have to motivate yourself to not just get out of bed, but also work out hard. Those songs are meant to push you to keep going on. He compares these songs to "goo gels" (energy boosters runners pop mid-marathon).
