The story of the warrior princess of ancient Manipur, who becomes one of the wives of Arjuna, was transformed into a woman's quest for selfhood and true love through Tagore's dance drama, Chitra, in 1913. Now, Chitra gets a modern retelling through Isheeta Ganguly's new play, Sundays with Chitra & Chaitali.
