1. My love by Florence + the Machine: Of course, this band can make you feel better right away. In the same vein as Dog days are over, this song will make you feel elated, and upbeat. Florence’s operatic voice fills up your ears and heart.

2. Last call by Khalid: If only our minds were as calm as Khalid’s smooth, smooth voice. The American R&B genius sings about a love that has no direction, and no resolution. “Meet me for a final dance, something like a last call”. Sigh.

3. Bam bam by Camilla Cabello: I guess Cabello has new insight after her break up with Shawn Mendes, about the after effects of heartbreak. But as she says, it gets better. “I was barely standing, but now, I am dancing”. Yes, that’s the way it goes.
