No party is complete without mutton seekh and chicken tikka, and Jamal's Seekh on the Liberty Cinema lane sells them fresh off the coals. Started by Jamaluddin Salmani, a former cook at Bademiyan's, the kebab stall sells spicy chicken tandoori, seekh parathas and mutton kaleji fry. Their famed malai chicken tikka, which had disappeared from their menu for a bit, has made a comeback. The boneless chicken pieces are left in a marinade of thick cream, curd, ground cashew and spices for over six hours, before being roasted on the grill.
